Once upon a time I tried and failed to make a pixel ID. For a period of about a half year, I've had no ID. After seeing all the neat ID, I decided to make one of my own. Inspired by the recent discovery of sky pirates, I made a sky pirate ID. If anyone out there feels so inclined to do the same, I'll post the (minimum?) requirements.

Exactly what is a sky pirate? From my relatively meager understanding, they are pirates that are a little more futuristic than their sea-faring brethren. They use dirigibles, zeppelins, and even have ships suspended from them. These pirates dress in a variety of ways, but often steam-punk in nature. Many wear aviation goggles as well. For a base knowledge, think of the pirates in Disney's "Treasure Planet". (You may or may not decide to be human in nature.)

Making your ID:

-To start off, I had actually made a picture of a sky pirate I intended to use for the ID. Just to give your own picture some personal flair, do things like keep your hair and eye color, and you can even fit some hobbies or clothing in the picture in a unique way. It doesn't need to be really fancy; if you want, it could just be a silly little doodle.

-Because I'm a cheapster, I then went to my good old paint program and cropped the picture with a frame. You may or may not choose to do so, too. The size for the overall ID card is 400 pixels wide and about 530 pixels long. The way you choose to frame your picture is up to you.

-Lastly, I went to photobucket because the fonts available to me on both GIMP and paint weren't what I wanted. You may choose, due to your own discretion, what you want to do for your own font. (or fonts) Leave a space at the bottom with which to write your personal stats. Of course, you need your pirate name (which may or may not be real or relate to your DA username), but you may choose which other stats you want. You could choose occupation: (fleet admirable, cook, blacksmith, engineer, navigator, swordsman, etc.), transportation, weaponry, special abilities, or anything else your devious little brain may think up.

-Lastly, encourage others to try it out! You may tag others if you find it necessary. X'D I'd like to find out who has done this, just to see how far it goes. If you make a sky pirate ID, please let me know in some way on my DA.
