Oil Painting Progress WIP II

This is a continuation of my saxophone oil painting. It's beginning to look more like a saxophone now that it has the correct colors, huh? (The under-painting is pretty much history.) It still has a long way to go, though....joy.

Also...yes....that black and white striped cloth hanging on the right side of the easel is part of a shirt that I am using as an oil rag. I have a feeling my teacher picked it up at a thrift store before ripping it into pieces for us to use.

Also, having made it this far into the painting, I must say that I commend anyone that has ever painted a saxophone with oils; it's crazy! XD
